After a fond shoot of Asuna Yuuki's imprisoned form from an anime (Japanese Animation) called "Sword art online", we were definitely all quite hungry. We stopped by Solenade, and realized there were cheaper food alternatives just a few blocks away after we already had our fill, oh irony.
Our small "merienda"
If you're not familiar with the term, don't beat yourself over it, "Merienda" means 'snack'. Although in truth that was the best meal I had that day as we all possibly just slept when we all got home. For someone like me who eats a ton, this was seriously not enough, but the sleeplessness at the least was brushed off!
Side by side: Not a huge fan of the chicken, and the sauces did not help. The filling was good, but something was lacking. I expected a little more spice to it as with Mexican food that's usually bursting with flavor | The cheese is an easy favorite, it's straight to the point 'cheese', no extras no nothing. But it does it right. So if I will be going back here. Am definitely getting one of these. Combined with a softdrink when you're starved? This makes up for all the waiting. |
In comparison though, I honestly like Mexicalli's Quesidillas a whole lot more. It has more taste than these. It felt as if it was toned a whole lot! Plus, the second dip Army Navy had didn't really pique my interest. Although of course, the salsa dip is always a favorite. Really loved the tomatoes mixed in a hot wrap.
Recommend?
I basically liked it. Not a fan, but will eat there again soon. The fries are interesting, the texture and the slight spiciness was good while it was hot. The combination of Coke and of course our snack was pretty good!
Though I wanted to taste the chicken, they were out. Which left a rather bad impression but hey, those things happen. Well then, see you Soldier!
